Lottie & Millie cycle the South Downs Way in 1 day
Millie and Lottie will be cycling the South Downs Way on Wednesday 6th of September in a day. The South Downs Way is a 100 mile trail with an accent of 3800m which follows the old routes and droveways along the chalk escarpment and ridges of the South Downs. They will start in Winchester and finish in Eastbourne. It will be an enormous challenge!
To date Ned's Fund has raised nearly £86K and it is Jo's greatest wish to raise £100K by the end of this year, 5 years since it was founded.
Through the generosity and fundraising of others, Ned's Fund has contributed to other chosen charities to provide activities and opportunities for young individuals. The outcome of this is greater self-development and awareness of their true potential. Opportunities like these are invaluable to our society as they encourage young people to face barriers they thought they couldn't overcome and discover a new path in life. Through the telling of Ned's story we aim to raise awareness of the issue of suicide in young people and the amazing work of the charities we support. We hope that by fundraising in memory of Ned we can give young people, like Ned, hope for a happy and purposeful future.
